Cross-device integration is a concept that Google is taking to a new level with the latest cross-device services update for Android. Until now, those who owned multiple Android devices didn't enjoy such integration, but that seems to be about to change.

The revelation of these emerging features is thanks to the Android expert AssembleDebug, who discovered how to activate some options hidden. These settings reveal a new setup flow that makes it easier to discover and share with other devices connected to the same Google account.
Specifically, the cross-device services that can be shared between Android devices will be:
- Wi-Fi password
- Hotspot
- video call transfer
To ensure adequate security, each device will need to confirm manually the desire to join the group, avoiding unwanted or malicious connections. You will be able to manage the devices included in the group, with options to share specific features or remove devices individually.
Although the cross-device services interface on Andorid is accessible by activating certain developer options, Google has not yet officially announced these features nor has there been any news of their actual release. However, the almost complete implementation and operation demonstrated by AssembleDebug suggest aimminent official presentation, perhaps in conjunction with the Feature Drop of Android 14 QPR2 in March, which should introduce all the new features tested in the coming months.
