ZTE has announced its new flagship model, theAxon 60 Ultra, which stands out for its ability to dual satellite connectivity. This innovative smartphone is in fact able to make and receive calls and send text messages via the China's Tiantong satellite system, a feature that makes it particularly suitable for the Chinese government and corporate markets, but which will not be available to the general public.

One of the most interesting features of the Axon 60 Ultra is theMulti-antenna switching algorithm that allows the device to combine cellular and satellite networks simultaneously. This ensures improved data transmission, reduced latency and enhanced connectivity even in areas with weak cellular coverage.
Also, the Axon 60 Ultra supports 5G-Advanced (also known as 5.5G), China Mobile's new high-speed 5G network, which offers download speed up to 10Gbps and upload speeds up to 1Gbps. Another notable aspect is the Axon 60 Ultra's dual-system architecture, which includes a user mode and a kernel mode. The former allows apps to run with limited access to ensure greater system security, while the latter provides the operating system with unlimited access to hardware resources.
Hardware-wise, the Axon 60 Ultra is built around a OLED display from 6,78 inch with 1220p resolution and 120H refresh ratez. The beating heart of the device is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, flanked by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal memory.
As regards the photographic sector, on the back we find a 50MP main camera with OIS, flanked by a 50MP ultrawide lens and an unspecified macro lens. On the front, instead, there is an f32MP camera housed in a hole on the screen. The Axon 60 Ultra is dFeatures a 6.000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W wired charging and also includes IP68 water and dust resistance.
Despite the official announcement, ZTE has not revealed details on the prices or availability of the Axon 60 Ultra, thus leaving the curiosity of enthusiasts and professionals in suspense.
