Starting from the usual contents of the package, made of black cardboard with some product specifications and the brand logo, we find inside our ZEERA MegFold, an instruction manual in English and Chinese and the USB power cable -C/USB-C. It would have been great if we had also found some sort of carrying bag, but considering the cheap cost of the product in relation to the original Apple gadget, we can't complain.
CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS
As mentioned, the ZEERA gadget is an ultra-thin product, which can fold back on itself and which allows you to simultaneously recharge both iPhone and Apple Watch but also AirPods, this at least if we are iOS users, but considering that the charging technology wireless is now present on many devices, we can easily charge Android smartphones and TWS headphones equipped with wireless charging. For charging the clock, unfortunately, the many smartwatches in circulation are not compatible with the charging base (tested with a Samsung Watch 5 and Xiaomi Watch S1) but the many Apple Watch clones are compatible. I also tested with a Huawei Watch Ultimate clone and recharging started, but I can't give you certainty if the Huawei/Honor smart watches are actually compatible with the charging base.
Returning to our ZEERA MegFold. on an aesthetic level it is similar to the Apple product but in this case there are 3 charging coils, instead of the 2 proposed by the Cupertino brand. When we want to transport it, for example for a trip, we can fold the mat back on itself, obtaining a sort of 3-level "sandwich".
When we want to carry it around we can fold it back on itself, like a 3-level sandwich, whose closure is guaranteed by magnetic profiles. In this regard, we could also use the accessory as a stand for viewing streaming content while recharging both the smartphone and the smartwatch. An excellent construction quality guaranteed by resistant and long-lasting silicone is immediately noticeable. As for the Apple Watch, the magnetic charger can be raised and positioned vertically to facilitate charging with certain straps.
HOW IT WORKS
Everything is powered by a USB-C cable that plugs into the appropriate power port equipped with Power Delivery technology. The use of a power supply of at least 20W is recommended as the MagSafe wireless charging plate, recognizable by the icon of a magnet, is able to deliver a charging power of up to 15W, while the second plate reaches a maximum of 5W, value which drops to 2.5W for the Apple Watch charger.
The device weighs just 128 grams and has dimensions of 74x80x24mm when closed and 247x74x8mm when open and also integrates two status LED indicators to understand when charging is in progress through the two external coils. Red when the charger is connected to the power supply, steady blue light when it is charging or flashing blue light when a foreign body is inserted and/or the inserted device has not been positioned correctly.
Personally I don't own iPhones, I sold the ones I had, but having made some tests with friends' devices, I have to admit that this ZEERA MegFold is practically perfect with all iPhone generations except for the 14 Pro model, whose camera block protrusion , causes the MagSafe seat to lose grip. However, the company has reassured that the next version of the device will also be perfect for the iPhone 14 Pro.

The company also sent me a cover for the iPhone 13, but unfortunately I sold this phone and I was unable to fully test the quality of the product. However, I can say that the construction of the cover is excellent, perfectly compatible with the bitten apple device and above all I liked the metal reinforcement around the photographic compartment. The cover is compatible with MegSafe charging technology but the peculiarity lies in the fact that if necessary it transforms into a stand, both vertically and horizontally, as it is equipped with a resistant and stable folding metal ring. We have seen how this ZEERA product is perfect for iOS users but if necessary it also proves to be an ideal companion for Android users, allowing you to charge two devices simultaneously wirelessly and with a little ingenuity you can also take advantage of the magnetic attachment MagSafe and use the charging dock as a stand.
