Although it was already leaked on AliExpress in all its retro beauty a few days ago, the Amazfit Neo was just officially unveiled in China.

Huami's Amazfit Neo arrives with a “robust” design inside which we find a square screen and four physical buttons. But not only that, the smartwatch also adopts a hard shell and a resistant PUR strap, which offers a comfortable and skin-friendly experience of use, while the water resistance is certified up to a depth of 50 meters.
The wearable features a retro-style black and white screen that supports continuous viewing throughout the day, as it is more energy efficient and ensures a bright display even in sunlight. Alternatively there is always the wrist lift function to light up the screen.
On the health side, the Amazfit Neo incorporates a high precision BioTracker ™ PPG optical sensor developed independently by Huami. This can realize 24/24 heart rate monitoring, real time heart rate monitoring and alarm in case of excessive heart rate or arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation screening.
At the same time, the Amazfit Neo introduces a professional-grade 'PAI' health assessment system, which converts heart rate, active time and other health data into a PAI vitality index through algorithms, enabling users to check their health more accurately.
In addition, the Amazfit Neo smartwatch also supports the night sleep monitoring function, users can in fact pair the app to understand the sleep status during the night. We find the intelligent recognition function of sporadic naps during the day and REM sleep monitoring at night.
In terms of sports functions, the Amazfit Neo has three built-in sports modes: running, walking and cycling. It also supports the real-time display of data such as duration, distance and heart rate on the different sections of the display.
The wearable can be connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth to synchronize SMS messages, e-mails and message notifications from traditional apps.
While from the standpoint of autonomy, the smartwatch can be used continuously for more than 4 weeks on a single charge. With the low-power mode, you can even get up to 37 days of use.
