Amazon launches AMP, its “radio” created on the imprint of Clubhouse

From today Amazon makes us create our own custom radios, really. When we think of Bezos' company very often we think only of the packages to be delivered and the largest e-commerce in the West. And instead the company has various goods and services in its catalog, the last of which is Amazon AMP. It's about a unpublished novelty which concerns the streaming audio service. It is not quite a radio, contrary to what we might think, but a service that allows you to create radios. Let's see the details.

Amazon launches a new service in the US: it's called AMP and it's a kind of personalized radio podcast. Along the lines of Clubhouse

Despite bringing similar elements with the competition, the Amazon AMP platform developed by the e-commerce giant has a different goal and does not aim at being a new social network like Clubhouse. It indeed poses an enticing option for users who want it create a radio personal. In summary, the application will allow people to create their own stations as well broadcast licensed music from the company to the rest of the community, as well as being able to interact with listeners as long as the speaker follows the terms defined in the use.

The company has invited a few song writers Americans to exploit the popularity of Jeff Bezos' newly released radio service. Among the guests there are: Nicki Minaj, Pusha T, Tinashe, Travis Barker, Lil Yachty. Like the Clubhouse in its origin, the Amazon app also initially arrives with availability exclusive to the iOS operating system, but it is possible that Amazon AMP will be updated in the future and receive compatibility with Android. Despite this expectation, there are no forecasts for the launch outside of the iPhones.
