The well-known Baseus brand which is part of the Xiaomi ecosystem has just launched the new Baseus GaN3 Pro 100W Gallium Nitruro Desktop Power Strip on the Youpin crowdfunding platform. The gallium nitride power strip will be sold at the starting price of 249 yuan, 34 euros, during the fundraising campaign.

The Baseus GaN3 Pro 100W Gallium Nitruro Desktop Power Strip will be sold in three versions: the standard version (Type-C100W dual port data cable) for 249 yuan (34 euros); the version with Apple data cable set (plug card + Dual-port Type-C100W data cable + Apple PD20W data cable) at 278 yuan (39 euros) and the version with two to three data cable set (plug card + cable Dual-socket Type-C100W data + two to three 100W data cable), 298 yuan (42 euros).
In terms of appearance, the main body of the power strip has dimensions of 38mm X 46,5mm X 112mm. So it's similar to the size of a mouse and can easily be stowed away in a backpack.
In terms of safety, the shell is made of high temperature resistant and flame retardant PC material, which passed the 750 ℃ glow wire test, 3 * 1,0mm² thick wire. A child safety door design has also been added to prevent the danger of shock when foreign objects are inserted. On the sides, on the other hand, we find two electrical sockets that support 2500 W high-power electrical appliances (10 A max).
The front panel is also equipped with a total of four USB ports, two USB Type-C ports that can provide fast charging output of up to 100W PD when used alone and the two USB Type-A ports that support 60W fast charging power.
