Cleaning your ears with cotton swabs is something we do without even thinking about it, but that doesn't mean this is the best way. To convince us of this, Xiaomi tries with its new product just launched on the Youpin crowdfunding platform.
Goodbye cotton swabs: Bebird Note 3 is here, the smart ear cleaner with integrated endoscope
The product is called Bebird Note 3 Smart Ear Pick and it is an ear cleaner with high precision endoscope function and other smart features. Its crowdfunding price in China is only 199 yuan, around 25 euros, while the future retail price will be 399 yuan, around 50 euros.
So let's see the various features more closely starting with the endoscope one just mentioned. This shows us the inside of our ears with a field of view of 75 degrees, thanks to a lens with a focal length of 14mm and a focus from 12mm to 30mm. We also have a 6-axis gyroscope, so as to allow the image to remain sharp and vibration-free during use.
The Bebird Note 3 Smart Ear Pick is then equipped with a high-end custom chip for an image transmission rate of up to 30 fps, has an operating frequency of 2,40 GHz and an optimized very low latency of 50%. .
The product innovatively adopts a dual collection and tweezer design, providing two tools, a spoon for the collection and tweezers for the removal of dirt, both with a visual aid that can be selected within the app according to preferences.
In particular, the ear tweezers have an opening and closing angle of 10,2 degrees, an opening and closing force of 150 grams and an accuracy of 0,05 mm, so that foreign objects can be extracted from the ear without touching the ear wall.
In total, three types of rubber tips are provided, one of the classic and elastic type that does not damage the ears; a special one that can go deep into the ear to clean the ear wax and reach hidden corners; finally we have one with a ring for greater curvature and the removal of the most stubborn ear wax.
