The long-awaited, at least from the mobile gamers community, Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is approaching the official presentation already scheduled for 18 March.
Well, as you may have already understood from the title, the smartphone has just appeared on the database of AnTuTu, the famous program for the benchmark of devices, under the name of "Blackshark Skywalker". Previously, the smartphone was also popped up on GeekBench and there we learned that it will be equipped with the new and performing Snapdragon 855 (as if there were doubts).
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 check on AnTuTu, the 18 on the march
Today's test on AnTuTu sees the Black Shark 2 in the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, so not the most high-end variant already seen on GeekBench with instead 12GB of RAM and, at least according to rumors, 256GB of internal memory. The smartphone managed to get 359.973 as a score, an excellent score in itself, but strangely below the Mi 9 which instead reaches 370.000 points
From the listing on AnTuTu we can also understand the future resolution of the screen, or 1080 x 2340 (Full HD +, no surprise here), while the radio aspect of the display will be 19.5: 9. We do not know instead the size of the display, because as usual it does not appear in any benchmark app, but it is assumed the presence of a display of over 6 inches and with AMOLED technology.
Other specifications that we will most likely find on the Black Shark 2 include fast charging to 27W (like on the 9 Mi), an advanced cooling system for long game sessions without overheating the device and, unfortunately, the lack of a microSD slot to expand the memory .
From the software point of view, the Black Shark 2 will come with Android 9.0 Pie as the operating system, then the latest Google, with the typical dark skin that we find on many gaming smartphones.
In any case, remain a few days to the presentation, continue to follow us for future updates!
