The sales package seems to belong more to a jewel than to a tech product. Well packed, inside the package we naturally find the Mini PC MP200, a power supply with a European plug, a support base to keep the computer off the ground, an HDMI cable, a mounting bracket for the Hard Disk and the documentation including the user manual and warranty information.
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
Starting from the design, the Blackview MP200 to be honest is not among the most compact mini PCs around but is still contained compared to a classic Desktop PC. We are talking about dimensions equal to 183,2 x 150 x 75,5 mm and a weight of 690 grams. Made with a plastic case with a ridged texture on the sides and grilles on the front and back for fan air circulation.
I would not say a nonsense but compared to mini PCs tested previously, in the solution offered by BlackView I did not find the possibility of hiding it behind a monitor, as it does not have VESA attachments and therefore the only solution is to place it on the desk perhaps using the support base included in the package, which also serves to keep the mini PC off the ground for better air circulation of the fan and therefore better heat dissipation. The base stand is designed with rubber pads, both for inserting the mini PC and at the bottom, ensuring the entire PC stays in place.
The bottom of the PC houses two screws that can be opened to add external RAM up to a maximum of 128 GB (64+64 GB) (DDR4 SO-DIMM slot) or HDD/SSD also counting on a 2,4 SATA slot inches with support up to a maximum of 2 TB but also an M.2 SSD slot with support up to 512 GB. Overall, the BlackView MP200 offers a clean but modern design, without exaggerations typical of gaming, therefore no RGB LEDs but minimal.
CONNECTIVITY
Despite the "compact" size, the BlackView MP200 is equipped with numerous I / O ports. On the front of the device we find the power button, the 3,5 mm headphone jack for the audio output which also simultaneously conveys that of a possible microphone and then two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports for high-speed data transfer. speeds, followed by a single USB-C port with 15W output.
On the back, however, we have two more USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports available, but also an HDMI 2.0 input, RJ45 LAN input, 1 DisplayPort input and of course the power input. Regarding the aforementioned USB Type-C port, this can also be used for the display output which, combined with HDMI and DisplayPort, allows the simultaneous connection of up to three monitors. All three ports support up to 4K@60Hz, while the DisplayPort can go up to 8K. In short, this BlackView MP200 does not skimp on ports and inputs allowing the user to connect everything, such as TVs, monitors, projectors, printers, NAS, speakers and much more.
SPECIFICATIONS
In terms of specifications, the BlackView MP200 Mini PC is powered by the 5th generation Intel Core i11400-10H processor, a mid-range SoC with 12nm manufacturing process. This hexa-core chipset is already two years old and comes with 12 threads and 3MB of L2,7 cache. It runs at a base clock speed of 4,5GHz, which can boost up to 45GHz under heavy workloads. It's also worth noting that this chipset has a configurable TDP of 35W or XNUMXW, allowing you to balance performance and power consumption to suit your needs.
Unfortunately we don't have a dedicated graphics card and so graphics processing is handled by the integrated Intel UHD GPU, which has only 16 execution units. Therefore, although it is able to handle basic tasks, we should not expect maximum graphics performance, even if demanding games and photo / video editing are carried out more than satisfactorily.
As already mentioned above, the BlackView MP200 Mini PC is only available in a single variant, with 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, but if you feel that the built-in storage is not enough , you can easily expand it with a 2,4 inch SATA HDD or SSD up to 2TB. RAM can also be increased to a whopping 128GB using the dual-channel SO-DIMM slots.
In terms of connectivity, this Mini PC is equipped with an integrated Wi-Fi 6 module and Bluetooth 5.2. Blackview promises downlink speeds of up to 1,3Gbps, while the operating system is Windows 11 Pro out of the box, so you will be able to run most of your work, study and leisure related apps on this device. In addition, the large number of ports allows the MP200 to be used with servers, surveillance equipment, office equipment, monitors, projectors, TVs and much more. On a decidedly positive note, the software is free from bloatware, resulting in a clean and uncluttered user experience right out of the box.
PERFORMANCES
After about a month of rigorous testing, I can safely say that the BlackView MP200 is a highly capable Mini PC. It easily handles light to medium use tasks and is an ideal machine for office tasks, web browsing, video calls but also photo editing and video editing without ever experiencing minimal system slowdowns. BlackView MP200 Mini PC BIOS supports features such as real-time clock, scheduled boot and auto boot after power on and UEFI/Legacy diskless boot.
Running various benchmarks to test performance, including PCMark10, Geekbench 6 and BrowserBench, the results obtained were impressive, not on par with a Mac Mini whose price is significantly higher. It is by no means a gaming PC, but all activities can be managed very satisfactorily. Video editing can also go even in 4K resolutions without particular problems although it is preferable to work in 1080p to apply more effects and color correction. It should also be noted the reduced working noise, only 39 db but also the excellent heat dissipation which keeps temperatures at bay, never exceeding 40°C, thanks to a copper alloy fan with a large surface area of 63,960 cubic mm with 4300 rpm.

Windows 11 Pro and the excellent hardware with which this machine is equipped, allows you to complete basic tasks such as drafting documents and internet browsing but at the same time allows you to go into riskier areas, such as gaming and video / photos retouching. Its ideal vocation could be to be used as a media center or home NAS, but if you are not a professional, as in my case, its use can also be used alongside the amateur productivity of video editing, without too many pretensions. In short, the BlackView MP200 offers excellent value for money: performance, versatility and a compact form factor make it a worthy consideration for those looking for an affordable Windows 11 computer for their home.
