Gmail translates emails on Android and iOS

Gmail is making it easier for colleagues who speak different languages to interactThis is because the email service of Google has implemented a function that allows to translate incoming messages eliminating the need to search for an external translator for this function. Before, in fact, if we wanted to do it from Android i from iOS, it wouldn't have been possible without opening the app dedicated to translation. Now no longer. Let's see in detail how Gmail translates emails.

Gmail has integrated a feature that translates emails: if it is written to us in another language, on Android and iOS we can translate it

As soon as the user receives a new email in a language that is not his native language, the platform will display a small banner below the sender contact. That way, just click on that region for the service to automatically translate the text. In other words, the feature works very similar to what you see in Google Chrome when accessing websites in foreign languages. Similarly, the user can choose to review the original text, as well as define whether the translation will always be done automatically or not.
