PREMIUM CONSTRUCTION
Blackview Tab 15 Pro is decidedly well made, counting on a monocoque made entirely of metal with a satin finish by means of sandblasting and oxidation processes, with a flat edge design which, in addition to returning a pleasant sensation to the touch and a premium look, gives definitely resistance to a product that we will inevitably end up treating with little care, throwing it on the sofa or who knows where, because let's face it, we are less careful with this type of product than with smartphones. In any case, although it is a rather cheap product for the technical specifications, Blackview Tab 15 Pro seems to belong to a higher market segment, so much so that it is also possible to appreciate the excellent assembly, free from creaks even under different stresses. Of course we are not dealing with a handy product but the thickness reduced to only 7,3 mm and a weight of 525 grams, well distributed along the whole body, make it easy for example in maneuvering during car racing or shooter games . The only plastic element is the upper band which hides the reception antennas for the connection signals.
The solution offered by Blackview offers everything you need starting from the power and volume rocker keys on the upper profile where the main microphone is also positioned, while specularly the lower profile appears smooth. On the right and left profiles we instead have a pair of speakers, 4 in total, for stereo sound, but on the right side we also find the 3,5 mm jack hole, the Type-C input for charging with OTG support and the SIM tray capable of accommodating two nano-sized SIMs or one nano-sized SIM and a micro SD. If you are wondering how the only available microphone behaves, the answer is positive, returning not only clear and clean audio during telephone calls, but also during video calls and/or meetings or distance learning sessions.
IMMERSIVE STEREO SOUND
I was definitely amazed by the performance of the stereo speakers, which give the user a full-bodied audio, rich in nuances and with a high volume level, therefore suitable for most situations, without ever distorting at maximum listening levels. Excellent for TV series and multimedia content in general but also for gaming, where the audio component is often essential for a good gaming experience, being able to immerse yourself in the scene.
BRILLIANT DISPLAY WITH L1 DRM AND HDR SUPPORT
The greatest use that a common user would make of a tablet is to view multimedia content on streaming platforms or watch the latest news, take a peek at social networks, in short, the display undoubtedly becomes a fundamental and essential part for this category of products. Our Blackview Tab 15 Pro offers a panel with 10,5-inch IPS InCell LCD technology in 1200 x 1920 pixel resolution with 215 PPI density, in 16:10 format. Obviously we are talking about a 10-touch touchscreen unit that manages to satisfy every multimedia claim. Perhaps the company could have done something more to optimize the frames but we really can't complain, considering that at higher prices you can witness something much more obscene.
Good color rendering, with rather deep and vivid blacks and whites, net of natural colors. A definition that can also be appreciated outdoors by relying on a responsive brightness sensor and which works much better than what is seen on mid-range smartphones. We have a 60 Hz refresh rate but what is astounding is that this "Chinese" supports level 1 Widevine DRM, thus allowing the viewing of content on Netflix and similar in high definition, but we also have support for HDR content, albeit in this case the resolution stops at HD. Also noteworthy is the reading and night mode to better rest your eyes after long sessions of viewing the display, because it is so beautiful that you will literally be enchanted. Although the peak brightness stops at 360 nits, you can safely take this tablet out of town, enjoying good vision even in direct sunlight.
MODEST HARDWARE BUT ARROGANT PERFORMANCE
For all operations Blackview Tab 15 Pro relies on a Unisoc T606 processor, an octacore solution with a 12nm production process with 6x Cortex A55 core and 2X Cortex A75 core structure, which is accompanied by the Mali G57 3EE GPU as well as 8 GB of RAM with further virtual expansion of 6 GB and 256 GB of expandable memory by means of micro SD with support up to 1 TB.
A hardware solution poco known but which overall does not disappoint for the tasks that we will perform on this tablet, allowing us to push ourselves even in the most stressful gaming, such as Asphalt 9, Call of Duty Mobile, Modern Combat 5 etc .. Everything is done flawlessly without generating overheating, obtaining a decidedly satisfying gaming experience net of good graphic quality. Naturally this implies that for more traditional tasks, the tablet always responds quickly and punctually, with performances that confirm the good things we have said so far. You can therefore use Blackview Tab 15 Pro also for productivity, with applications such as the Office suite but also ask for targeted tasks, such as using it as a second monitor to be used alongside your PC during the video editing phases. A task that definitely suits the solution offered by Blackview is to transform it into a mini PC, using either the OTG connection for keyboard and mouse or the integrated Bluetooth while at the software level we have the appropriate PC mode available.
SOFTWARE WITH SOME SPECIAL GOODIES
Probably the fluidity of the system in general is not only due to the hardware but also to the software used which in this case is of the stock type, but in any case personalized by the brand through the DOKE OS 3.0 interface which in fact does not distort the typical experience of Basic Android but allows some graphic customizations and goodies in general. On the other hand, we have Android 12 on board but I honestly doubt that a major release of the OS will be introduced, even if the company has not abandoned the product, in fact in my testing period I received a small update which further improved stability and fluidity of the tablet.
The positive side is that such a simple interface makes it accessible for use by any type of user, whether a child or an elderly person, whether expert or not. Even leaving things as they are, you will not feel the need for anything else, because the Blackview Tab 15 Pro has always been reliable and above all app support is 100% guaranteed.
THE SELFIE ROOM AMAZES
It seems stupid to talk about the photographic sector for a tablet, but in the case of our unit we have two optics, a 13 MP rear one, SKHynix Hi1336 sensor and an 8 MP front one, Samsung S5K4H7 sensor. Naturally we do not expect front page quality but overall the shots obtained are more than usable on various social networks but also for work, being able to also count on video recording at 1080p 30 fps even if the absence of stabilization is felt. The photos, however, surprise for the fact that they are not particularly rich in digital noise. All this can be useful for example at work but above all for video calls, also counting on good audio, where the selfie camera gives better performance than the rear one. There is everything, considering that we use such devices mainly for video calls.
COMPLETE CONNECTIVITY EVEN WITH FM RADIO
I also really appreciated the connectivity available: in fact we find a dual-band WiFi module which has proved to be very reliable, taking into points where some smartphones generally struggle. We also have the aforementioned Bluetooth 5.0 as support while using the wired earphones via the 3,5 mm jack input we can also take advantage of the FM radio, use the Type-C input with the OTG function but above all benefit from the 4G LTE connectivity with support for 20 band, so we can use any SIM from national operators. Then there is the GPS with Galileo satellite coupling, something that with a minimum of ingenuity would allow us to transform the tablet in question as an on-board computer for our car. In any case, through the SIM we not only have access to data, but on balance we can also make and receive calls, complete with the possibility of recording them.
INFINITE AUTONOMY
All very nice but in terms of autonomy? Blackview Tab 15 Pro can count on a battery from 8280 mAh which allow us to get at least 21 uninterrupted hours and therefore you can just forget about recharging it for so many days. Unfortunately, the recharge only goes to 18W but overall that's okay, on the other hand you will have to detach yourself from him sooner or later.

All considerations must be analyzed by virtue of the selling price, a further strong point.
