A few weeks ago we saw that there is a way, albeit with limits, to use ChatGPT on WhatsApp and then on smartphones. But many are wondering one thing: when will the mobile version arrive? Nothing is really known about a possible application but Microsoft, thanks to the integration of the chatbot on Bing, has cheated everyone on time. That's it ChatGPT is already usable on smartphones with this proprietary browser of Microsoft.
We've already seen a mobile version of the OpenAI chatbot. But is there a ChatGPT for smartphones? Apparently yes it is from Microsoft
After making a fuss announcing he was carrying Bing to the next level with its ChatGPT integration, the tech giant Microsoft quickly began testing the new features. It's possible queue up to become one of the users to try the novelty on desktop, but, in parallel, mobile users have also started to have access to the updated search engine. In the screenshots shared by some of the first users of this new Bing su reddit, you can see that Microsoft has already implemented the interface with ChatGPT, but it is not yet possible to use it properly.
The user who reported the news, to access the mobile interface loaded the page in desktop mode and put it back in mobile view. The interface is streamlined with several essential controls such as a microphone icon to dictate the search by voice. Some screenshots shared by users also show different options for the tone of chatbot responses, from “more creative” and “more balanced” to “more precise”.
Some believe the setting could be the Microsoft's way of bringing back the original tone of Sydney, which is now controlled by recent Bing updates such as limiting the number of chat queries. Entries from the Bleeping Computer portal suggest that Microsoft tested different modes for Bing, allowing it to behave in different ways.
