One of the latest rumors that are running on the net, related to the update of Xiaomi ad devices Android 11, is that according to which the futuristic Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha will not receive the update. The news is somewhat strange when the device is equipped with the most current components and therefore with the latest hardware. Despite the news that is going on, it is not good to take this thing 100%. Let's take this new one for granted Alpha style smartphone template instead, which makes an appearance on the site LETSGODIGITAL. The device is manufactured for Xiaomi by Wingtech. Let's see the details.

But before we see the images of this new futuristic model unearthed in a patent, let's clarify who it is Wingtech. Outside of China it is a practically unknown company but we must know that this giant is among the ODMs (Original Design Manufacturer) largest in the world, perhaps the largest. But what is an ODM? It's a'company that designs and manufactures items resold to third-party companies which will market the products under their own brand (source). And Xiaomi is one of these companies. That said, we know Wingtech has designed one smartphone similar to Mi Mix Alpha but better, more beautiful: it combines its main features with those of a pop-up phone.

The LETSGODIGITAL website nicknamed the design "wrap around"Literally giving the idea of a panel surrounding the entire device. In fact it is just like that: the curved glass takes almost the entire smartphone leaving only the left side (or right from the points of view) free. Ultimately we have a full screen device whose camera, however, is not present in the form of a hole or notch, nor is it invisible: this comes out of the upper body with a pop-up mechanism. It looks like a mammoth quad camera module, in line with the number of optics that we find today on all the top of the range. The appearance seems very elongated and therefore we can guess that it is a 20:9 rather than a 19: 5.9.

Having said that though, let's go back to dry land: it's a patent and as such it will be very difficult for Xiaomi to actually produce it. To tell the truth we do not know if this device was specifically designed for Xiaomi but various reports (published on the website in source) show that Xiaomi outsources up to 75% of its design and production to ODM, including Wingtech.
