Experts from DxOMark, after analyzing the capabilities of dozens of devices, they released a list of smartphones that they claim to be i best with camera in the summer of 2021. Lab representatives focused on the segment premium, as it is for the flagship models that manufacturers choose the most powerful hardware and the latest camera technologies.
For DxOMark the best smartphones in photographic terms are Huawei, Xiaomi and Oppo. Here are the three models that are on the podium for summer 2021!
The leader of the general classification according to DxOMark is the smartphone Huawei P50 Pro. The device, which received four image sensors, scored 144 points, occupying the first row of the overall rating. The second place hosts it Xiaomi mi 11 ultra with a triple rear module and a maximum sensor resolution of 50 megapixels. It also features advanced Dual Pixel Pro autofocus technology and Smart ISO Pro HDR support.
The third place in the list is of Oppo Find X3 Pro with a 50-megapixel main camera, supplemented by wide-angle and telephoto lenses, as well as a 3-megapixel macromodule. Closes the best summer camera smartphones Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, the only participant from last year. Its triple main camera was able to compete with the newer models.
Experts have called the Huawei P50 Pro the number one for portrait photography, even with bokeh effect. For the group photo instead, they advised to look at the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.
In the categories of landscape photography and zoom, the Huawei was once again recognized as the best device. However, it has lost against the Xiaomi flagship in disciplines such as wide angle and video recording. Additionally, experts noted the large camera capabilities of the Snapdragon version of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, although the device was slightly inferior to its rivals in some respects.
