Eager for Redmi Note 9 4G? Redmi 9T is coming to the global market, but with some small differences

Although the new smartphones just presented in the mother country by Redmi, or the Note 9 series, precisely because of the nomenclature of these devices dedicated to the Chinese market but which in the Western world corresponds to completely different models, today we have come to know that precisely for our market one of these devices could come on sale, naturally with a different name.

We are talking about Redmi 9T, which has been certified by European bodies with the model number M2010J19SG, which apparently boasts specifications very similar to many other devices, such as POCO M3 but could just be configured more like Redmi Note 9 4G, as the model number is quite identical. We are therefore talking about an entry level smartphone and that for the first time as a T series would appear in the form of Redmi and not Notes.

Eager for Redmi Note 9 4G? Redmi 9T is coming to the global market, but with some small differences

The same model, presumably Redmi 9T, has also been certified for the market of Singapore, Malaysia, Russia and Mexico as well as Europe, in practice the new entry level will reach a little all over the globe. But does it make sense? Looking at the spec sheet, this device is going to stamp its toes just recently POCO M3, offering a 6,53-inch Full HD + screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, a 5000 mAh battery and a 48 MP primary sensor camera. So we should probably expect some changes to differentiate it from POCO M3?

The answer is yes and these differences will be essentially 3: the first and most obvious is the design, derived precisely from Redmi Note 9 4G (China version) while the other 2 differences of Redmi 9T compared POCO M3 will be the presence of the NFC sensor and the presence of 4 optics on the rear compared to the 3 of the cousin. Probably the launch of Redmi 9T will take place within the first half of December 2020, concluding this chaotic year in which Xiaomi has practically presented a new smartphone almost every two weeks.
