From exactly one week Xiaomi will hold a presentation event at the China National Convention Center in Beijing, which we have been discussing for a few days already. It will represent the launch pad for a new high-end smartphone and most likely also for the giant's entry into the laptops market. Anyway, to make a sort of summary, here's what we expect from the 27 July Xiaomi event:
Xiaomi Mi Notebook
We start immediately from the piece. The Xiaomi laptop should have a design and an aesthetic very similar to that of Apple's MacBook Air Xiaomi Mi Notebook portrait in new images |, with high level features | Trace the technical specifications of the Mi Notebook | and especially Windows 10 on board.
This may leave some unsatisfied people, especially those hoping for a custom version of Linux. However, the choice of Windows 10 has several points in favor:
- The partnership that started in the past with Microsoft will be strengthened;
- Windows 10 is currently the most popular new generation operating system in the field of consumer PCs, so it will have an excellent impact on the Xiaomi computer;
- Most of the software and games are mainly developed for Windows.
Xiaomi Note 4 Redmire
The new generation of Redmi Note should represent a half revolution in photographic terms for the Chinese giant. It is rumored that it will be equipped with a rear dual camera system, which will drastically improve the photographs.
This dual camera system should then be implemented in the future also on the Mi Note 2.
One more thing ...
Let's borrow the famous Steve Jobs phrase to launch a possible surprise event. And if the 27 July Xiaomi will announce new things regarding the MIUI 9. We already know that the development of it will begin shortly but we know practically nothing about the changes that will be made, both to the code and to the graphical interface.
