In the case of Google Docs, it will be possible generate, summarize and edit texts with AI, as well as emails in Gmail based on pre-established tags. In the case of Presentations, similar to Microsoft Designer, developed by DALL-E by Open AI, and Canva, developed by Stable Diffusion, it will be possible to produce images, audio and video with AI to illustrate the slide set. However, the features are not yet available to the public. In the case of writing tools for Docs and Gmail, a group of North American testers will make their first use this month. And, according to the company, before the end of the year (with no fixed date announced) all features will be available to all users.
For Docs and Gmail compose tools, the user will see a message “Help me to to write“. Then we'll type in a topic and the Google AI will start drafting. Microsoft is also said to be entering this tough AI race, but with Word, Teams, and Outlook. Next Thursday the company will detail its plans regarding the technology. We remind you that on March 16 there should be the introducing ChatGPT 4, the update that will allow the framework to work with photos and videos as well.
