WEARING THEM IS A PLEASURE
The first feeling I had when I wore the Haylou PurFree was that of extreme comfort and freedom, in fact what you feel is just a slight pressure in the area in front of the ear. In fact, these earphones do not fit inside the ear canal, leaving it free during music listening sessions / calls, taking advantage of bone conduction technology, which will convey the sound by means of "vibrations". Everything translates into extreme comfort and lightness, with a satisfying and enthralling sensation at the same time. I immediately anticipate that even if you shake your head forcefully, making sudden movements, the headphones will remain anchored in their seat, making the Haylou PurFree ideal for even the most extreme sport.
Comfort is especially appreciated when perspiration becomes high or when we are in the hottest season of the year, precisely because these headphones do not wrap around the pavilion or even fit inside it. One would think, however, that bone conduction headphones like the Haylou do not allow you to appreciate the nuances of the music you are listening to, but this is not the case because inside we find the best technology on the market.
I've tried them while training on the treadmill, during long walks outdoors, in the car and even in the shower. In every situation I was able to benefit from a musical experience at the highest levels by remaining alert to what was happening around me. Attention, the headphones have IP67 certification, so they are not afraid of water and sweat in any way but they are not suitable for swimming, so my test in the shower was a stretch, however successful.
With the Haylou PurFree it is possible to listen to music at a good volume, without exaggeration while remaining in contact with the surrounding environment, a very important thing especially for outdoor activities, such as when using a scooter for example. Unfortunately the human brain can be deceived and therefore the advice is to listen to music at a maximum volume of about 80%, otherwise the risk is that we will focus on the music and not on the entire sound scenario that lends itself to us.
The headphones have no drivers and the only holes on the left module of the headphones relate to the two microphones equipped with CVC technology for clear and crystalline calls even in sporting activities, or rather if you have a strong headwind, the microphones will struggle to separate your voice from the rest of the context, but in general your interlocutor will listen to you cleanly and flawlessly.
The autonomy is also excellent, reaching values around 8 continuous hours (I personally arrived around 10 hours), relying on a 165 mAh battery which is recharged in about 1,5 hours via magnetic connectors placed on the right side, the in which there are also the two volume keys, one of which also performs the function of switching on and off, pairing and querying the battery charge status. Also present is the quick charge function, which in just 10 minutes will give 2 hours of battery life.
On the left side, however, there is a multifunction button that allows you to manage calls such as answering, rejecting and hooking up, but also to adjust multimedia playback by playing / pausing, skipping the track forward or backward and calling up the voice assistant. So with only 3 buttons we can fully manage every action for music and calls.
Another thing that left me particularly satisfied is the possibility of combining the Haylou PurFree headphones with two devices at the same time, for example with two smartphones, where you can manage music on one and calls on the other. The connection is also always fast and stable, without interference, with a coverage that goes beyond 10 meters, thanks to the presence of Bluetooth 5.2 and the Qualcomm QCC3044 chip which offers the aptX codec.
ZERO COMPROMISES LOTS OF QUALITY
Obviously I don't want to say that the Haylou PurFree are perfect and suitable for all usage scenarios, but in general I have not found any defects to report but it is right to bring to your attention some particularities. Given the particularity of the technology used, namely bone conduction, do not expect deep bass and ultra-high listening volume. The speakers are in fact incorporated under a silicone sheath.
It would be stupid to think of solving these "bugs" by pressing the drivers even more on the skin, but the company has given its own solution, to be applied for those situations in which we do not need to remain vigilant. In fact, in the package we find a pair of earplugs, which will therefore isolate you from the surrounding environment, therefore the brain will focus only on the audio that comes from the headphones, returning a feeling of greater volume and depth of the bass. I stress that this is not the type of listening for which the Haylou PurFrees are born and the technology used which has among its strengths that of allowing you to listen to what is happening around us, without ever blocking your ear.
Another "disadvantage" of the Haylou PurFree is the headband: in fact, resting on the back of the neck, if you wear headphones in an armchair or on the sofa and want to lie down, the headband will cause discomfort. Finally, I point out that in call management, if you adopt the maximum volume, the interlocutor's voice could be picked up by those next to you. Otherwise these earphones are perfect for both sport and the office while being able to carry on a conversation without appearing "deaf".

I started with the test of these Haylou PurFree more out of curiosity than out of actual need, but the result went beyond my expectations.
