Honor, the Chinese smartphone brand, has announced the global launch date of its new flagship model, theHonor 90. After you have it presented in China on May 29, Honor has confirmed that the device it will also arrive in Europe on July 6th, with an event in Paris at 15:00 CEST.
Honor 90: the new smartphone with 200 MP camera arrives in Europe on July 6th
The Honor 90 is a mid-to-high-end smartphone that stands out for its 200MP rear camera, capable of taking detailed and sharp photos even in low light conditions. The camera is accompanied by a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, however, we find a 50 MP selfie camera integrated into a hole in the screen.
The screen is another strong point of the Honor 90: it is about a 6,7-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2664 x 1200 pixels, curved edges on four sides, 120 Hz refresh rate and maximum brightness of 1600 nits. The screen also offers some eye-health features, such as dynamic and PWM brightness adjustment, which should reduce eye strain.
To move the Honor 90 there is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, slightly boosted by Honor with a maximum frequency of 2,5 GHz for the main core. The processor is supported by a 12 or 16 GB RAM memory and an internal memory of 256 or 512 GB, with no possibility of expansion via microSD. There The battery has a capacity of 4000mAh and supports 66W fast charging.
The smartphone is expected to be available in four colors: Midnight Black, Emerald Green, Diamond Silver and Peacock Blue.
At the moment the price is not known official Honor 90 for the European market, but it can be assumed that it is less than 549 euro than last year's Honor 70. In China, in fact, the Honor 90 starts at 2499 Yuan (about 330 euros) for the 12/256 GB version and reaches 2999 Yuan (about 395 euros) for the 16/512 GB one.
