Today, Honor, the well-known brand of smartphones and smart devices, as well as launching the new Honor Magic V2, also unveiled its new flagship tablet, the Honor MagicPad 13", in a full-screen launch conference at Water Cube in Beijing. The tablet stands out for its 13-inch 2.8K screen with 144Hz refresh rate, its Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and its innovative 3D spatial audio technology.

The Honor MagicPad 13 was defined by Honor CEO Zhao Ming “the tablet with the best and most powerful screen from Honor so far“. The 13-inch 2.8K screen with 144Hz refresh rate occupies 90% of the front surface of the tablet and offers a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, a pixel density of 264ppi and a peak brightness of 700 nits. The screen also has outstanding color accuracy, with a ∆E of less than 1, and a TÜV Rheinland certification for eye protection.

But it's not just the screen that impresses. The Honor MagicPad 13 is also the first tablet in the industry to integrate the technology 3D spatial sound to "naked ear", which creates an immersive and three-dimensional sound effect without the need for headphones. The tablet has eight built-in speakers, with a low-frequency center area of ​​494 square millimeters, producing powerful and detailed sound. The tablet also has a self-developed spatial audio rendering engine and QQ Music Premium certification for spatial audio. Also, the tablet supports the IMAX Enhanced certification, which ensures optimal visual and sound quality for IMAX content.

Performance-wise, the Honor MagicPad 13 does not disappoint. The tablet is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, which offers high computing power and optimized energy efficiency. The tablet also has three memory options: 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB, to meet the different needs of users. There tablet battery has a capacity of 10.000 mAh and supports the quick charge from 40 W.

The Honor MagicPad 13 is also a versatile and productive tablet, thanks to its MagicOS 7.2 operating system, which offers several smart and practical functions. The tablet supports the stylus Honor Magic Pencil 3, which has a pressure sensitivity of 4096 levels, a latency of 2ms, zero pressure ink emission induction and a battery life of 10 hours. The stylus allows users to write, draw and annotate on the screen naturally and smoothly.

The tablet also has a feature Honor Document, which allows users to manage, edit and convert documents quickly and effectively. The function it also supports handwriting input and voice to text conversion. Additionally, the tablet can project its screen to an external monitor via a cable or wirelessly, supporting up to 4K at 60fps. The tablet can also share the network with other Honor devices via the updated MagicRing.

The Honor MagicPad 13 has an elegant and refined design, with three colors available: sky blue, star gray and moonlight. The back of the tablet has a dual-ring camera module that houses a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.

The Honor MagicPad 13 will be available for pre-order from 21:30 on the day of the conference and will be officially launched at 10:08 on 20 July. The price of the tablet ranges from 2999 yuan (376 euros) to 4.499 yuan (564 euros), depending on the configuration. The smart touch keyboard is priced at 599 yuan (75 euros) and the Honor Magic-Pencil 3 stylus is priced at 499 yuan (62 euros).
