Living, the well-known Chinese smartphone maker, surprised its fans with the “silent” launch of a new model of the Y series, the live Y27 5G. This is a mid-range smartphone that offers some interesting features at an affordable price.
Vivo Y27 5G presented: budget smartphone with 90Hz screen and 50MP camera
The vivo Y27 5G comes with an elegant and modern design, with a plastic body available in two colors: blue and white. The back houses a vertical dual camera, with one 50 megapixel main lens and a 2 megapixel secondary lens for depth of field. There front cameraInstead, it has a resolution of 8 megapixels and is located in a notch at the top.
The screen is one of the strong points of the Y27 5G, as it is a 6,64-inch LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution (2399×1080 pixels) and one 90Hz refresh rate. The screen also has a good brightness, reaching 600 nits peak, and supports Eye Care mode to reduce eye strain.
Under the body, the vivo Y27 5G hides a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor, an octa-core chip with a maximum frequency of 2 GHz and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is a processor that guarantees good performance and supports 5G connectivity. The vivo Y27 5G is available in two memory variants: 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage or 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Both versions have a microSD card slot to expand the available space.
La battery of the Y27 5G has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports the quick charge from 15 W via the USB-C cable. According to the manufacturer, the battery can provide up to 18 hours of continuous use or up to 10 days of standby time. The vivo Y27 5G has other useful features as well, such as the NFC support for contactless payments, the IP54 level of protection against dust and splashes of water and the audio jack from 3,5 mm for headphones. The operating system is Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13, which offers a customized interface and various proprietary applications.
The price of the vivo Y27 5G has not been officially announced yet, but it is estimated to be close to 1000 yuan (about 130 euros).
