The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor has just presented the new Honor X6a in the UK, a device that aims to offer smooth performance, long battery life and a versatile camera at an affordable price.

The Honor X6a is the successor to the Honor X6, which was presented in September last year, and differs in some key features. The first is the screen, which switches from a 6,53-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate to a 6,56 inch TFT LCD panel with the same resolution but with a 90 Hz refresh rate. This should ensure greater fluidity in navigation, games and multimedia content.
The second difference concerns the battery, which increases from 5000 mAh to 5200 mAh, promising a longer life even with intensive use. Also, the quick charging switch from 18W to 22,5 W, allowing you to recover energy in less time.
The third difference is the rear camera, which changes the main sensor from 48 MP to 50 MPwhile maintaining the same 2 MP secondary lens for macro and depth. The front camera remains unchanged at 8 MP.
Otherwise, the Honor X6a retains the same specifications as the Honor X6: the processor is the MediaTek Helio G36, an octa-core chip with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, flanked by 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD. The operating system is Android 13 with the customized Honor Magic UI 7.1 interface, which includes various smart functions and power saving modes.
The Honor X6a is available in two colors: Cyan Lake, an aqua blue, and Midnight Black, a matte black. introductory price in the UK is £130, around 150 euros at current exchange rates, but Honor is offering a £10 discount for pre-ordering on its official website. Still no info on prices and availability in Italy.
