vivo takes the first position among the three largest Chinese smartphone companies: after it Oppo and Huawei. What is the success of?
live managed to reach this top spot during the second week of March. The data detected by Counterpoint refers to market shares of the company, Oppo and Huawei. These are considered untied, in that meeting, by the groups to which they belong. So Oppo is not considered in the BBK Electronics group, Huawei clearly excludes Honor. However vivo includes iQOO. So this is a slightly unbalanced ranking.
What are the reasons behind this sudden rise? They are basically two:
- at least in China, the brand offers (also thanks to iQOO) one diversified product range and also with affordable prices: this leads it to be known on multiple price ranges and between multiple ranges of users
- tendency to grasp the i trend of the moment: as we said earlier, the trend continues to be that of cameras and the brand has always been at the forefront for the development of cutting-edge software and photographic sensors (think collaboration with Zeiss)
Clearly the advance of vivo was also facilitated by the collapse of Huawei that has been seen split from Honor in recent months. How will the situation evolve in Europe and in Italy? We'll see.
