In fact, it seems that the Chinese company is finalizing preparations for the launch of a "new" terminal, alias Mi 10i, which apparently would not be exactly new, because according to revealing sources, Mi 10i would be other than a Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite designed for the Indian market.

So nothing to do with the Mi 10 family even if the name would have suggested so. To be precise, this new Xiaomi Mi 10i appeared in the code of the MIUI 12 camera app, among the modules that refer to the photo watermark. In fact we can see that the word SHOT ON MI10i refers to the code name tocoins which in turn takes up the code name of Mi Note 10 Lite, that is toco.
So there is no doubt that Mi 10i will be an Indian version of the now best seller Mi Note 10 Lite, which we have repeatedly talked about here on the blog. The reason for a separate launch is not clear, but we have seen similar situations several times, as Xiaomi in India often considers its business completely different from other countries.
Apparently, the complaints of users who shout their confusion about the various models, completely similar, that the company presents in various markets outside of China have not helped anything.
