The release of the MIUI 9 Stable for the second batch of Xiaomi devices started

As we announced around the beginning of November, the release of ROMs Stable based on the new MIUI 9 would go on in three tranches: the former would only concern Xiaomi Redmi Notes 4 / 4X e Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 e Xiaomi Mi Max 2, while the other two would crawl all the other devices on the farm that were officially reached (and we'll show you a list below), first on the Chinese version and then a few days later on the Global branch.

List of Xiaomi devices that will receive / receive the Global Stable MIUI 9

As you can see from the list, there are not any devices like the one Xiaomi Mi 5X which, according to a official sources confirmed, will not receive it in no way one ROM Global, although the China version will be updated regularly on MIUI 9 ... and consequently also the unofficial ROM, installable with the unlock of the bootloader, xiaomi.eu.

How does the release work?

Release, as some of you have noticed directly or indirectly, progresses progressively: starting with a release of ROMs via OTA to random and limited users which will be able to install ROMs quietly and will act as tests. This is a procedure that Xiaomi has been running for about two years - I go to memory - and that, in the presence of a drastic upgrade of the operating system (switch from MIUI 8 to MIUI 9 but also from MIUI 7 to MIUI 8) create discomforts to all your users and at the same time receive feedback on any bugs that - we repeat - compromise your user experience.

After a few days even other users who did not want to update or who were not reached by the update notification will be able to update automatically via Updater; the ability to manually download the update from the official forum instead will come after file uploads by Xiaomi after some other day.

Which devices will be reached? Let's make it clear
