Inventec will increase the production of Xiaomi Mi 5

From the day when the Xiaomi Mi 5 made its entrance on the market, various flash sales have followed one another which, unfortunately or fortunately based on the point of view, all ended within a few seconds. This occurred due to a large demand for the purchase of this smartphone, together with the "few" units available made available every time but this, as has been amply demonstrated, was not an economic maneuver by Xiaomi to induce users to buy their device rather than a problem related to the production of the device itself | Xiaomi is not deliberately limiting the availability of the Mi 5 |.

For this reason, the company asked its Xiaomi Mi 5 production companies to increase its production (excuse the wordplay) so that it could definitively extinguish the innumerable demand for this smartphone from part of the users The inventories envisaged by Xiaomi for Mi 5 are not enough |.

Finally, after much anticipation, something began to move and, from a new report from China, we learned that Inventec (one of the two companies in charge of the production of the Mi 5) has managed to increase the monthly production of the Xiaomi Mi 5, with a consequent increase in shipments as well. In fact, there is talk of an increase of 300.000 units per month, passing from the previous 700.000 units to the current one 1 million of Xiaomi Mi 5 per month. In reality, according to Sun Changxu (industry analyst), the problem that until now had limited the production of the Xiaomi Mi 5 was to be associated with the limited availability of the Snapdragon 820 which, as you well know, being the current flagship processor of Qualcomm house present on various smartphones of the moment, the reason for this scarcity is clear.

In addition, it was also found that Inventec has recently increased its manufacturing capacity at the Nanjing plant 90% but not only that, precisely to respond to the ever increasing demand for products, it is working on an expansion project called Nanjin Phase II which corresponds to the creation of a new 27.000 acre, 6-storey plant that will significantly increase its production capacity.

This is a great step forward for the company and it will surely be the users to benefit most, seeing no more in situations similar to those seen so far during the various flash sales.
