iQOO, the smartphone brand dedicated to young people and gaming enthusiasts, has launched its latest flagship model, the iQOO 11S; let's find out together.
iQOO 11S: the new flagship with 2K 144Hz screen and 200W flash charging is official in China
The screen of the iQOO 11S is one of the most advanced on the market, with a resolution of 3200 × 1440 pixels, a pixel density of 517 PPI, a 1800nit peak brightness and support for HDR10+. Also, thanks to LTPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) technology, the screen can dynamically adjust the refresh rate from 1Hz to 144Hz depending on the displayed content, saving energy and ensuring optimal fluidity. The screen also supports ten times double touch control, which offers greater touch accuracy and responsiveness.
To further enhance the viewing experience, iQOO has equipped the iQOO 11S with the the world's first super-computing independent display chip, which integrates two processing engines: one for super-resolution and one for super-frame. The former can increase the quality of low-resolution images up to four times, while the latter can increase the frame rate of low-frequency videos up to four times. These features are especially useful for gaming and e-sports, as they can make images clearer and smoother.
The iQOO 11S doesn't disappoint on the photographic front either, with a triple rear camera including a main camera with Sony-customized VCS IMX866 optical image stabilization of 50 megapixels, 116° ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2X 50mm portrait lens. The main camera can capture detailed and realistic images in different light conditions, thanks to the ultra-sensitive bionic sensor that mimics the human eye. The ultra-wide-angle lens can widen the field of view and capture stunning landscapes, while the 2X vertical lens can deliver elegant portraits with bokeh effect. The camera also supports various functions such as 4K HDR video, pure night scene, “Zero-latency” mobile motion capture, automatic perspective correction and wonderful retrospective.
Under the hood, the iQOO 11S packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, the most powerful of the Snapdragon 8 series. This chip offers high performance and low power consumption, thanks to its eight-core architecture with a maximum frequency of 3 GHz and the 4 nm manufacturing process. The processor is joined by the improved version of LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0, which offer faster data transmission speed and larger storage capacity. The iQOO 11S is available in four memory variants: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB.
To ensure adequate autonomy, the iQOO 11S is equipped with a battery from 4500 mAh which supports the 200W ultra-fast flash charging. This technology allows the phone to be fully charged in just 15 minutes, thanks to the use of a new aerospace-grade ceramic boron nitride material, which reduces overheating of the battery protection board.
The iQOO 11S has an elegant and sporty design, with three color options: Qiantang Tingchao, Track Edition and Legend Edition. The first is a dark blue with green highlights, the second is a matte black with red details, and the third is a glossy white with gold details. The back of the phone features a vertical stripe with the iQOO logo and model name, while the right side houses the power and volume keys and the Monster Touch key for activating game mode.
Pricing
The iQOO 11S is already available for booking on the iQOO official website and other e-commerce platforms. The price starts from 3799 yuan (about 490 euros) for the 12GB + 256GB version and reaches 4799 yuan (about 620 euros) for the 16GB + 1TB version. This is a very competitive price for a smartphone that offers top-of-the-line features in all aspects.
