iQOO, the smartphone brand under the wing of Vivo, is preparing to launch its new mid-range model, the iQOO Neo9, which will be the successor to the iQOO Neo8 presented earlier this year. The leaker Digital Chat Station has revealed some details about the design and specifications of the upcoming device, which promises to offer high performance and a quality camera.

According to leaked information, the iQOO Neo9 will have one screen from 6.78 inches with a resolution of 1.5K and a central hole for the front camera. The panel will be curved on all four sides and will have a very thin frame, to ensure an immersive visual experience. The back of the phone will have a glass cover with a two-color scheme and an innovative camera design.
Under the hood, the iQOO Neo9 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the latest generation of chips from Qualcomm, which will offer greater power and efficiency compared to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 used in the previous model. The processor will be supported by a high-density battery with a120W fast charging, which will allow you to charge your phone in just a few minutes.
As for the camera, the Neo9 will be equipped with the Sony IMX920 sensor for the main camera, the same one used in the vivo X100, the smartphone with a dedicated imaging chip. It is a 50 megapixel sensor with a size of 1/1.5 inches and 4-in-1 pixel binning technology, which allows you to capture detailed and bright images even in low light conditions. It's unclear whether the iQOO Neo9 will also have vivo's V2 imaging chip, an improved version of the V1+, or whether this will be reserved for the vivo X100 Pro.
The Neo9 will be accompanied by a Pro version, which may have some differences in specifications, such as screen size, internal storage, or number of cameras.
There is currently no information on the price and launch date of the iQOO Neo9 and Neo9 Pro, but they are expected to be presented later this year or early next. iQOO Neo9 will also be launched in India in December, along with theArticle 12, the flagship of the iQOO 12 series introduced earlier this month.
