After unveiling the iQOO Z series last year, with the first Dimensity 1000+ on board, 144Hz refresh rate display and 44W fast charging, the brand is now ready to launch the successor that will come under the name by iQOO Z3. Today, the smartphone was in fact caught on the website of the Chinese certification body 3C.
iQOO Z3 caught on 3C: 55W recharge confirmed
The iQOO Z3 has been certified with Vivo model number V2073A. Just like its predecessor, it is a 5G device and according to the leakster Digital Chat Station, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset.
The 3C certificate reveals that the smartphone will support 11V and 5A charging, then 55W charging power, a great upgrade from its predecessor's 44W fast charging.
As for the other specifications, these are still unknown but since the iQOO Z1 had a 6,57 inches. iQOO may decide to stick with an LCD panel or switch to AMOLED for this year's model, although in the latter case the refresh rate probably won't reach 144Hz.
For photos on the other hand, the iQOO Z1 adopted a 48MP triple rear camera that also includes an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. Now, as 64MP sensors are more common these days, we won't rule out that the iQOO Z3 has a 64MP one as well. We also expect an improved ultra wide-angle camera and depth sensor.
