Jimmy H10 Flex the cordless vacuum cleaner that I love!
I have to tell you the truth, I couldn't wait to try this new vacuum cleaner Jimmy's H10 Flex! You will ask yourself why and I'll explain it to you straight away: I got on so well with its predecessor, the H9 Flex, that I was waiting to see if the next model had improved the only point that hadn't convinced me (and which in any case didn't it was about cleanliness). Well, I can already tell you that the answer is yes! Furthermore there have also been other small improvements that make, in my opinion, the Jimmy H10Flex one of the best products on the market.

CONFEZIONE
The vacuum cleaner will arrive well packaged with a cardboard box that protects the actual packaging, the pieces of which inside are well protected by the shaped polystyrene. It comes in a compact and tidy box, packaged so as to protect all its pieces well. Therefore there is no risk of suffering any transport damage.
To enter specifically, in the package we will find:

ACCESSORIES
Our vacuum cleaner Jimmy it is truly "full optional", in fact we find 5 different accessories in the package, let's see them together:
Let's start with the main brush: the motorized brush.
It is suitable for cleaning any type of floor and among its strong points we have the truly exceptional joint which gives it the best mobility I have tested on a vacuum cleaner (this also applied to the predecessor) and the powerful LED light (an accessory which I consider essential on these devices) which allows you to clearly see the area you are cleaning and not let even the slightest particle of dust escape.
The roller can be taken out and exchanged with it suitable for carpets, which is very important if we have carpets perhaps "seasoned" with the hair of our dear pets. This operation is simple, just push the yellow lever up which will allow the release of the latch located just below. I assure you that it is more complicated to explain it than to do it
Another accessory is the crevice nozzle, very convenient for cleaning in narrow places or that require greater precision, from the corners of rooms, furniture to the crevices of our car. Here we find another improvement, a small light LED placed on the front part will allow us to find all the dirt to clean even in these difficult to reach places! And then the great news, the vents are made of rubberized polycarbonate FLEXIBLE! Really perfect for reaching all those places where it couldn't reach if it were made of rigid plastic.
To obtain perfect cleaning on our PC keyboards, car object holders, wardrobes and other similar areas we also have the 2 in 1 upholstery nozzle available: its shape makes it the most suitable especially for cleaning car interiors : reaches the most difficult places, also carefully cleans the mats and seats, thanks to the retractable external brush.
Another very convenient accessory is the motorized brush used for mattresses: it has a shape that allows you to maximize anti-mite and allergen cleaning, perfect for keeping areas clean that are less easy to clean, such as our bed or sofa. a truly essential accessory!
Finally, the soft brush, thanks to its long fibers, is ideal for cleaning fine furniture, ornaments and all those objects that require particular care during cleaning. In addition to the obvious suction, the internal part is made of a material that will not let even a speck of dust escape.
Finally we have a connector that allows some of these accessories to be bent up to 90 degrees (all except the motorized mattress brush) as well as the flexible metal hose, the main feature of this model. This allows our Jimmy H10 Flex vacuum cleaner to be used in many different situations. Thanks to the possibility of moving the brushes from a simple straight position, the flexible connector often saves us from annoying positions and makes cleaning a breeze.
MOUNTING
The assembly of the Jimmy H10Flex It's really very simple and quick:
First you need to recharge the battery, which can be done in 2 ways:
- Charging the disconnected battery: in this case, to see the charging status, just wait for the status LED to change from red to green
- Connected to the camera body: in this case you will see the charging status directly on the display as a percentage!
And this is the first FUNDAMENTAL improvement compared to the H9 Flex where to recharge we had to connect the vacuum cleaner to the charging base designed to be fixed to the wall (a problem for those who did not want to do this fixing operation) and otherwise the recharging it became an uncomfortable operation.
Once the battery has been charged, simply connect it to the machine body (if you haven't already done so), attach the flexible hose (or the desired accessory) and the motorized brush. At this point you will be ready to start cleaning the floor/mattress/sofa/furniture/etc
METHOD OF USE
Our vacuum cleaner has 4 modes of use that we can select according to our needs. There are 2 buttons, the first for turning it on/off and the one below for changing the modes of use.
The modes of use are: Auto (the one that is activated by default) – Turbo – Max – Eco. In auto mode, as you can easily imagine, the vacuum cleaner will automatically adjust itself based on the dust detected and the type of surface we are cleaning. If we want more suction power we will have to switch to Turbo and Max which will push our H10 Flex to the maximum, however at the expense of autonomy. The eco mode is the most economical and is activated automatically if the autonomy drops below 20%. The autonomies vary, obviously, based on the mode we are going to use. In that car it stands at around 35 minutes, dropping to around 20 in the Turbo one and going up to 80 for the eco one. My advice is to always keep the automatic mode which, thanks to the sensor placed on the brush, will detect dirt and will remove it without compromising the residual autonomy too much.
DISPLAY
On the camera body we find a convenient display that will give us the essential information, i.e. the estimated minutes of remaining autonomy, the set mode and a 4-segment bar that will report the dirt detected in real time. This bar will also change color from red (dirty) to blue (clean) to help us visually understand the condition of the areas we are cleaning.
Here I immediately noticed a design flaw: unfortunately, by keeping the vacuum cleaner in the "normal" position, the dirt indicator bar NOT we will see. This certainly leaves a bit of a bad taste in the mouth as in the 9 Flex it was perfectly visible. Nothing that compromises cleaning but a nice feature that we are going to lose in this way. The obvious mistake was placing it at the top and not at the bottom of the display.
EMPTYING THE TANK
The dust tank is attached to the camera body and cannot be detached for cleaning, like its predecessor. In my opinion it is not the best choice, I prefer vacuum cleaners that allow you to detach the entire tank so as to make emptying easier. In any case we will have the possibility of emptying it in 2 ways: by pressing a button the base will open. Another way, for a more thorough cleaning, would be to remove the entire filter part. To perform this mode you simply have to "unscrew" the filter block and remove it. The correct direction is highlighted both on the HEPA filter and on the internal one via the usual little padlock icon and relative opening/closing direction. In both cases the process is simple and intuitive. All these parts can be washed under running water. Even the Hepa filter, thanks to its microfibre sheets, is washable to always guarantee the best performance of the vacuum cleaner. The only very important precaution is to let it dry well before using it again.
HOW IT CLEANS
The cleanliness you will get with the Jimmy H10Flex it is certainly very thorough, also guaranteed by the very convenient and essential LEDs on the motorized main brush. Since I don't have one, I wasn't able to test the cleaning with the dedicated brush on carpets but it will certainly be at the same level as that on classic tiles/laminates/parquet and therefore excellent. The excellent joint of the brush allows us to clean in every small crevice without struggling and having to make particularly complex "maneuvers".
The power developed is 650W, the suction power is 245AW and the suction pressure is 26Kpa, an excellent value that in the field certainly surpasses even devices that have 30Kpa. The 0.6L tank guarantees complete cleaning of even very large houses, up to 150m2. Then obviously it will depend a lot on the degree of dirt you will have to clean up.
FINAL CONSIDERATIONS
Il Jimmy H10Flex It is certainly one of the best products on the cordless vacuum cleaner market. The flexibility of the main tube, the high-level technical features and the incredible range of accessories certainly make it preferable to most of its competitors. In my opinion if you already have the H9 Flex the move to the 10 would be good poco sense because the 10 is an upgrade of the 9 and not a distortion with completely different characteristics. In fact we go from 200 to 245AW, from 550 to 650W and from 24KPa to 26KPa. But if you are considering purchasing a product like this then my advice is to go without any doubts Jimmy H10Flex.
