It seems that Xiaomi is preparing for the launch of a new device with a curved screen. This time, however, we are not faced with the dual curve to which we are now used: the photograph leaked in the last few hours shows a device whose shape resembles that of the LG G Flex. The MIUI interface on display confirms that it is a smartphone from the Chinese company. It therefore seems that Xiaomi wants to follow in the footsteps of LG, which had advertised the G Flex as a comfortable phone for one or two-handed use. The latter, however, has not met with great success and is no longer produced by the Korean company.
It is normal that this smartphone arouses some perplexity: assuming that the leak is genuine, what would be Xiaomi's market strategy, given the lack of interest aroused by LG's G Flex? A lower price might help, but maybe a little more incentive is needed. However, it is not up to us to judge Xiaomi's plans, especially not having the certainty that it is not a hoax. As already mentioned, the veracity of the leak is far from certain and considering the surprise generated by the innovative design of the Mi Mix, of which nothing was known until the time of launch, it is difficult to believe that Xiaomi is missing out on such news. .
