The rumors on the first Xiaomi notebook increased day by day and this can only mean one thing, namely that we are very close to its presentation. In the last seven months, many details have emerged regarding this device and, during the last day, we also got to see it in some unpublished images, where we could see the keyboard, the touch pad and the body made of metal | Xiaomi Mi Notebook portrait in new images |.
Now, however, we have come to know of new details on the Mi Notebook that do not concern the aesthetic part but rather the hidden part, that is some of the hardware components it will be equipped with and which until now were based only on assumptions.
First, the Mi Notebook will be available in two versions with 11 ″ and 12,5 ″ (13 ″) inch display diagonals, the latter of which has been confirmed to have full-HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) , even if it will not be of the touch type.
Everything will be powered by an Intel Skylake U-Series processor with Core i7 (Core i7-6500U), which is a dual-core 64-bit CPU released in the third quarter of 2015 with a base frequency of 2,5 GHz, while the maximum is 3,1 GHz. It will be accompanied by an Intel HD Graphics 520 GPU with a base frequency of 300 MHz and a maximum of 1,05 GHz which can easily run a game from last year (set to minimum graphics details) and having performance similar to that of an NVIDIA GeForce 820M video card. Complete the presence of an 8 GB RAM memory and the Windows 10 Home operating system.
Finally, the charger will be very compact and similar to the one seen in the Huawei Matebook which uses a micro-USB Type-C port with a maximum output of 20 V and 3,25 A (65 Watt). Furthermore, Xiaomi has equipped this charger with two very useful functions, the first of which consists of intelligent charging while the second consists of a heat treatment method.
However, nothing has been mentioned about its probable selling price nor whether there are other differences (CPU, RAM, etc.) in addition to the diagonals of the display between the two versions but for sure we can imagine that this Mi Notebook will have a competitive price compared to other similar products.
