Recently the Korean company LG wanted to amaze with the new smartphone Wing, even if many have criticized it for not having gone further, certainly bringing something never seen before, that is a rotating screen on another display, actually reproducing what seen in the early 2000s with “bar” design mobile phones. But perhaps it would have been more congenial to express oneself with a "classic" foldable. But as LG suggests, the Wing smartphone belongs to a larger project, called Explorer Project, a kind of plan that will push its devices beyond the limits, offering more and more something different, innovative and unique.

On balance, all this would allow you to transform the smartphone into a tablet and vice versa, a decidedly different and perhaps more comfortable solution than the current foldables, which are still bulky.
This new project could be the epilogue of what emerged some time ago about the registration of the LG Rolling brand, which was based on the development of smartphones with folding and rollable displays. More details should be revealed in the coming months and the groundbreaking LG smartphone could be announced in early 2021.
