As we have mentioned several times, there is always to be on guard with photos fake that run on the net. We have seen it lately as the "stolen" shots depicting the POCOPHONE F2 they made us believe it was the real device; unfortunately, however, the joke lasted poco both for a error of the counterfeiter, both because after a very short time the brand itself decided to announce something. That something seems to be the beginning of a new adventure and therefore of a new device. There are those who call him POCOPHONE F2 and who POCOPHONE: we don't know the name but apparently we know the processor that will mount thanks to this photo.

The same goes for this photograph that we are going to show you: we know where it comes from we cannot assure its truthfulness. In any case, it is important to know what we are talking about, that is, the possibility that the brand's next device, da poco independent, could come with the SoC Snapdragon 865. Here are the tests.
As we can see it is precisely the device we are talking about, the POCO F2. Regardless of its real name, it may have changed to POCO X2, the conformation of the cores of the Snapdragon 865 is octa-core divided into three clusters: the first cluster formed by a single 77 Ghz Cortex A-2.84 core, the second cluster always made up of three Cortex A-77 cores that work at 2.4 Ghz and the third cluster formed by four Cortex A-55 cores traveling at 1.8 Ghz.
So far everything comes back with the photo, but we have not taken into account another thing: it Snapdragon 855 has the same number of cores that go at the same speed, the only difference is the name of the "major" cores that they are called Cortex-A76 instead of Cortex A-77. This discrepancy goes beyond just the name since the difference in performance is substantial. Unfortunately the photograph does not give us any clue about the name of the cores and therefore, until the moment of an official confirmation we will remain with the doubt.
Despite this, there will be one thing for sure: POCOPHONE F2 will leave the factory with Android 10, the latest release of the operating system that just yesterday has rollout for its predecessor started. While waiting for more news about the processor mounted under the body (perhaps always in polycarbonate to keep costs down), update your device, remembering to make a nice backup.
