Wei also pointed out how Xiaomi is seeing an incredible development especially in western Europe. Xiaomi has in fact become the fourth smartphone manufacturer in the old continent, with a growth rate of 90% compared to the previous year.
The Chinese brand then dominated in some categories in Europe, such as that of electric scooters, but also that of wearables. Xiaomi has precisely 70% of the market share in the region for the first and is the second wearable manufacturer after the giant Apple.
As for the rest of the world, Xiaomi has benefited from Huawei's troubles with the Trump government, even though the brand does not officially sell smartphones in the American country. It has also opened new stores in a very competitive market like the Japanese one and has seen the brand Poco become independent in India.
