Recently, some leaked information has surfaced about the Xiaomi Mi Drone and its ability to be controlled through the Mi Band. First of all, it is now clear that Xiaomi's design is that of a quadricopter equipped with a camera. Most air drones on the market use this configuration as it is the best that will guarantee static flight stability.
As for the use of the Mi band, it can not only be used to let the drone follow us through a fixed connection with it but, thanks to the accelerometer inside it, it will be possible to use it to perform aerial gestures, such as example, moving it in a circle above your head (as if we were cowboys) could mean that we want the drone to land.
Considering however that the scope of the Mi Band for connectivity is very limited and even if we use the smartphone as a bridge would not greatly improve the situation, we believe that Xiaomi will also necessarily include a controller with enhanced WiFi antenna (a bit like it already does DJI with its SkyController).
Finally, we remind you that rumors have emerged about a sale price of about 699 yuan which, at the current exchange rate, is equivalent to about 95 euro.
