[CUSTOM ROM] SmartyRom Meizu M1 Note [Flyme 5]

As previously promised, Smartylife gives you a new one SmartyRom . Rom is obviously based on the new and beautiful version of the Flyme OS.I also advise you that I have worked out a safe, fast way to install it directly from smartphone and always without unlocking the bootloader. But now we are talking about how to install the newest SmartyRom.

Mod SmartyRom Meizu M1 Note based on Stock

As many of you know, to this day, Meizu does not allow you to work fully in the field of modding. Refusing to grant the release of bootloader officially. Installing this rom will not lose it warranty as you will not go to unlock the bootloader.

Preinstallation Requirements

• Meizu M1 Notes with at least 70% charge;
• Flyme 5.1.3.0A Preinstalled !!!
• SmartyRom HERE;
• Active root permissions;
• Busybox;
• Terminal Emulator;

Before you start, I recommend everyone to keep in Internal Sd, a copy of the firmware downloadable from HERE. So in case of problems just go to recovery (From off Keep pressed power + volume button on) and plug on  firmware Upgrade to restore the device to normal.

I add that by installing the rom we will modify hash etc, so at the time of installation the eventual OTA Update will fail. No fear to update your device you will need to download the new rom, place it in the maindirectory and plug in Firmware Upgrade to recovery. To prevent any difficulties you can download updates from HERE.

Get root permissions.

Nothing simpler, let's get in Settings /Flyme account / Login / register , go now always in the Settings / Security / Root Permissions agree to everything, wait for the device to restart. Now we have root permissions !!

How to Install Busybox.

Download the apk of busybox HERE copy it to the sd card and through the app Document install it, now complete the installation, open it to root requests and click Install, Busybox Installed !!

Install Terminal Emulator

Same thing for the emulator, download it from HERE, always using the app Document or any file manager install it.

SmartyRom Meizu M1 Installation Notes

First, extract the two files in the zip of SmartyRom, copying them both to the internal memory They do not have to stay in no folder. So I recommend if you do smartphones do not leave the files extracted in the folder of the download, do not complain then if the procedure does not work I recommend this particular !!!

Open the terminal emulator installed first and write these two simple commands.

su

sh /sdcard/smartyrom.sh

You consent to the root requests, when you give the second command wait, even if everything seems to be stopped it is not, within 5-10 Minutes the device will end the installation and restart in Recovery.

Small note on reboot in recovery: If you are installing rom with smartphone charging, restart will not be done, the smartphone will turn off, to reboot in recovery from smartphones off Power + Volume button on until you see the letter Meizu.

Now, do the Wipe Date

Once in recovery, select now  Wipe Data and tap up Start, by doing this you will lose all your data (applications, messages and calls will be lost, photos, videos, music will not be touched).

Have a lot of patience on the boot will be very long to complete the boot Meizu M1 Notes needs about 10 minutes.

Tips and tricks

Change Launcher - Settings / App / Default Apps / Home screen

Enable Xposed- Enter the Xposed / Framework / Reboot app and agree to the Root Request.

Activate Flyme Tool- Xposed / Modules Insert the tick then go to FlymeTool / Options (the three top right arrows) / Reboot your phone and agree to the root request.

Kernel Toolkit- Be careful what you do with this last tool if you change something especially in the governor part, if you manage the maximum frequencies of the cpu instead you can really save a lot in the battery field, for example I limit the max frequency to 702mhz and I can assure you that the general fluidity is still good, obviously if you play it is advisable to increase it. To set the changes permanently in the app options there is the option "Apply settings on boot".
