The famous site dedicated to the development of software for mobile devices, XDADevelopers, has just published some really interesting information about the next update coming on the Xiaomi Mi 9 best buy.
The ROM is the Chinese MIUI 10 Developer to the 9.5.1 version and the changes will be mainly in the lock screen and the return of the "Child Mode".
MIUI 10 9.5.1: Incoming new notification management and Kid space
So let's start with the option that will allow us to move the clock to the lock screen. After the update it will be possible to choose to set it in the center, on the left and vertically. In the screenshot above we can see how it will be represented in the settings.
The other feature added to the MIUI 10 will come in handy when you want to manage notifications from the unlock screen. Until now, you could only completely hide the notifications or show the contents in totality. Thanks to the new functionality it will instead be possible to see the contents once the face is recognized. So, after allowing the device to recognize your face, the notification details will be shown and you can choose to interact or delete them.
As we said before, both features now run on the MIUI 10 Developer ROM (China) MIUI 10 9.5.1 for the Xiaomi Mi 9. After the feedback of the testers will be taken to the Stable that even the least geeks can download.
XDA then found information on upcoming features soon. In fact, there will be new gestures and a space called "Kid space".

Now, this Kid space seems to reintroduce functionality within MIUI. That being said, it is not yet certain whether this feature will be brought to the MIUI 10 or launched with the next MIUI 11.
