To redeem its reputation for software updates, Xiaomi is working harder than usual on the optimization and design of the next MIUI, because, after all, this is the soul of their devices.
MIUI 13 appears in the first screenshot: here is the design of the main screen
Well, today some Chinese bloggers released what should be the first screenshot of the MIUI 13, which is rumored to be released later this year (the authenticity of this screenshot has not yet been officially confirmed).
Judging by the screenshots, Xiaomi seems to have adopted a new design for the main screen. We find new floating widgets for weather and calendar applications. On the right side of the screenshot we notice instead of the new widgets for the Security application that shows us the current battery status and its total autonomy.
These changes do not surprise us given that previously, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had said that the MIUI team would accept everyone's suggestions, would first focus on perfecting the basic experience and would solve the problems of the UX of that you cared about. So it is hoped that the MIUI 13 that will be released towards the end of the year will live up to everyone's expectations.
Previously, it was revealed that MIUI 13 will also add fusion memory technology to increase the maximum RAM by 3GB, while the new operating system will be able to greatly improve the user experience especially from the point of view of fluidity. There will then be new visual UI effects and many other special features.
Finally, we also remember that the MIUI 13 should have arrived on board the Mi MIX 4 and the Mi Pad 5. Everything was then denied by the well-known blogger Digital Chat Station, who had revealed (correctly) that the MIUI 12.5 operating system would be already been pre-installed on different models of Xiaomi Mi Pad 5.
At the launch of the Mi MIX 4 and the Mi Pad 5 we discovered that that operating system is called MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition: here the list of compatible devices.
