The edges of the latter, however, are equipped with special functions: it is possible, in fact, with a simple swipe, to access shortcuts that lead to applications, contacts, news, etc. It is even possible to take advantage of the edges of the smartphone to view some notifications. The function is very useful if you have the habit of keeping your phone inside a flip case.
During the launch of Mi Note 2 the presence of specific features for the ends of the device was not mentioned. Some reports have referred to particular gesture that should allow some operation, but nothing particularly exciting. But the last word is not said: According to the latest news, MIUI 9 (of which we have spoken to you , promising) would introduce interesting features that make the Chinese smartphone edges much more functional, thus improving the user experience.
