Released MIUI 9 7.8.31 Version Full Changelog

Hello MIUIers of Italy and welcome back to the appointment with the complete changelog for the new 7.8.31 version of the China Developer and Global Developer branch that I remind you, is released weekly every Thursday night.

This week we come back to see a substantial changelog that, regardless of content, confirms the rhythm of the development of this MIUI 9 beta and a good hope for the release time of the stable version. We are delighted to announce the return, both on China that on Global enviroment, the possibility of setting up a preferred home to be recalled via the button.

Compatible models

This version is available for the following models: Mi 6, Mi 5X, Redmi Note 4X / Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm, Mi MIX, Mi Note 2, Mi 5, Mi 5S, Mi 5s, Mi Max, Mi Max 5, Mi Note Pro, Redmi 4X, Redmi Note 4A.

MIUI 9 China Developer ROM 7.8.31 Highlights

Grouping of bluetooth devices poco used
In daily use it happens to try / connect / pair many more bluetooth devices than those we really use with a certain frequency, creating a confusing and difficult to consult list. From this new version onwards, MIUI will group bluetooth devices poco used to work around this problem.

Setting the Default Home
In these first versions of the MIUI 9, the default home was always the leftmost one, and today it is now possible to set a preset to its liking and recall from the home button.

This week there is no update for Mi 6 due to a problem with the Personal Hotspot
Also suspended for Mi 5s Plus due to the Force Close in power-saving mode

Lock Screen, Status Bar, Trend Notifications

Improved - No sound and vibration for not important notifications
Resolved - Animation frame rate issues in the notifications dropdown
Removed - Charge information on the lock screen
