Unfortunately MIUI for TV it is not yet Global, but many users request it. for this reason its launch in Europe in the next few years (maybe months) is not to be excluded. But having said that, what is it? Simple: as the name suggests it is an interface dedicated to Xiaomi televisions. For the moment, however, it is only available in the motherland. But having said that, we know that an interesting feature is coming: this is the ability to disable advertising when the TV turns on. Kind of like when we eliminate advertisements on MIUI on smartphones.
While waiting for MIUI for TV Global, here is a novelty that will arrive perhaps by the end of the year: the deactivation of advertisements when the TV is switched on
Maybe not everyone knows but come on MIUI for TV in China, as soon as the TV turns on, part one short advertisement. As with smartphones, these advertisements are for financially support developers as the prices of the devices are lower than the competition. Clearly, relying on TV prices alone, like smartphones, isn't enough. But users are still clamoring for the possibility of removing these ads. While on smartphones it is enough disable some options using developer privileges, on TV doesn't seem to be possible. But here's the news.
According to what was revealed by a Xiaomi official on Chinese social networks, a function for MIUI for TV should arrive by the end of the year to eliminate advertisements. We recall that already in October 2019 the Jiangsu Provincial Committee for the Protection of Consumer Rights presented companies with the requirements for rectification and standardization within a time limit of advertisements.
This news will make a lot of noise, especially after a user has won a lawsuit against Xiaomi (albeit rather useless) where asked for reimbursement of the cost of the connection because an advertisement caused him to download an app.
