Like a bolt from the blue it comes to us from I Global Community official this news. Many perhaps do not even know what we are talking about: perhaps the last to join the large family of "miuiers"I'm not aware of it. In short, last year the development of ROM Beta intended for Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones. The reasons? Many users, rather than sending feedback to the developers, didn't give a damn and their interest was only to try out the new features in advance. Their words leave no room for doubt: the program will be opened in the future although there will be limitations. This is the most important news but not the only one. On the same occasion, the two engineers also answered many other questions. For brevity we list i most important and interesting points:
- yes, there will be one MIUI 13 but there is no confirmed date;
- il life cycle of MIUI 12 is about three years old and therefore they expect about twelve updates in total (it does not mean that MIUI 12 will be there at 13);
- it has been clarified that i Super wallpapers, as we already knew, they are only supported by devices with more modern hardware;
- internationalization of MIUI it is not possible as some languages are "hybrids" such as the language of Bangladesh which is a mixture of Bengali, in fact, and English. It is better (and easier) to create a translation;
- there are currently no plans to create a operating system (and not interface) proprietario. Conversely this would mean one independence from Google which, now, is not feasible;
- one is in project tool to create your own Super Wallpapers.
Now the only thing that would be missing, always requested by users, is one greater punctuality in the release of updates. The rollout of the third phase of the devices has now begun but many find it absurd that the new series like Redmi Note 9, still have not received the MIUI 12.
Having said that, however, we want to "dampen" the enthusiasm a bit by saying this: this is not official news divulgated by the brand itself. Above all, it has not been certain that the project will be reborn. Consequently better not to make your mouth.
