La MIUI it is rich no doubt, but not perfect. In fact, perhaps this is really the only problem: optimization. While on the one hand the features are many (in comparison to other Android skins), on the other the stability is not equal. The last MIUI 13 beta for China contains two new menu items in the device settings. One is called "Features for the big screen" and another one "Features for tablets". These new menu items only appear if the target devices are "zizhan"(Xiaomi's next leaflet) or"dagu”(A Xiaomi tablet with Wi-Fi module based and on Snapdragon 865/870).

Page "Features for the big screen”Includes new background options for foldable devices, modes different applications view, customizations for games, new keyboard options and display behavior settings for when the device is folded or opened.
Page "Tablet functionality”Also includes here different ways of viewing applications, an option MIUI + Beta, keyboard customizations for tablets and Windows settings. Note that most of the features listed within these new menu items they are not available in the current beta.
The following pictures show a new one keyboard layout for foldable devices, which will allow users to split the keyboard from the center, making one of the two halves more accessible on large screens. This split keyboard layout will offer users additional customization options such as the possibility to duplicate the central buttons for a more flexible typing experience and an option to change the left and right halves of the keyboard with a single touch.
As mentioned above, these new features they are not active in the latest beta version of MIUI 13. At the moment, we do not even have official information from Xiaomi regarding the rollout. We will not fail to update you when and if they debut on the MIUI China o Global enviroment.
