In a period in which we are more or less all forced to stay at home, what better training partner than a quality exercise bike? Our favorite brand, Xiaomi, seems to think so, who has just released a static bicycle on its Youpin platform.
MobiFitness Smart Static Bike TURBO presented in China
The new home sports machine was actually developed and produced by the MobiFitness brand, which we have already seen on our website in the past with their elliptical bike. The exercise bike that we are going to see today has a more conventional but at the same time more premium and professional design.
Let's start from the name that already suggests that we are in the presence of a semi-professional level product, in fact it is called MobiFitness Smart Static Bike TURBO. Furthermore, the brand has not even spared itself as regards the design factor, with the aesthetic part created by a famous Chinese cartoonist, Shanghai Tango.
Speaking of hardware, however, the exercise bike comes with a double-magnet Turbo engine that allows it to apply strong magnetic pressure and help us burn more fat while maintaining a fluid movement. The resistance to magnets is in fact much more uniform than that with physical friction of the cheaper static bicycles.
The resistance system of the MobiFitness Smart Static Bike TURBO called CVT is then adjusted using a knob. Depending on the rotation of the same we will have different modes of use. So for example if we set the resistance from 0% to 20% this is excellent for heating, from 20% to 50% to shape the shape of the body, from 50% to 80% to improve its resistance to fatigue and from 80% to 100% is a challenge for our muscles.
Depending on our position on the exercise bike, we can also use different parts of the handle. We have the upper part to be used for a more aggressive position, the central one if you want to pedal while standing and the lower one excellent for those who want to take a "ride" in peace.
Obviously, the height of the handle and the seat as well as the depth of the latter are adjustable so as to satisfy every user. In particular, we can adjust the handle in a range of about 9 centimeters, the seat height up to a maximum of 17 centimeters and the depth of about 7 centimeters.
Finally, as regards the supported weight, the exercise bike can be used by people weighing a maximum of 150KG; while the weight of the product itself is approximately 42KG.
