This is the fourth year that the Xiaomi Redmi version is already on the market, and even though it has been a while, sales continue to run smoothly.
Right now news has arrived regarding the new Xiaomi Redmi 5 model, it will be sold at a different price from the old versions, this is justified by the news that the new smartphone of the house will have different versions with different and improved hardware.
Interestingly, however, is the marketing plan of the Chinese giant, which involves the simultaneous sale of smartphones both with online and offline direct sales channels.
In the light of these interesting news we can say that with the other Chinese houses (OPPO, LIVING), the competition will increase a lot.
But let's take a closer look at the specifications of the various versions:
- Xiaomi Redmi 5 standard version: the basic version includes the Snapdragon 625 processor and 3 GB of ram, at a price of 899 yuan ($ 149 at current exchange rates).
- Xiaomi Redmi 5 advanced version: the enhanced version instead provides the Snapdragon 630 and 3/4 GB of ram, the price will be 1,099 yuan (183 $).
- We will also have an alternative version that will be equipped, unlike the above models, with a Mediatek processor at a price of 133 $
Of course, in addition to the above specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 smartphone will be equipped with a 16 MP rear camera and a 12 MP front sensor, which will guarantee good photographs and will also accommodate selfie addicted.
All this will be complemented by a 4100 mAh battery that can guarantee you get to the end of the day quite easily.
Being one of the new models of the Big Chinese will of course be equipped with a lanuova performance MIUI 9.
As for the release, however, Xiaomi has said it will take place in September, as the lights are currently focusing on updating the Redmi Notes 4X to the new MIUI9.
So promises this new born Xiaomi home, we just have to wait!
Display size? Not beyond 5 ″ I hope!

With the 4100mAh on the Redmi 4 Pro you get 2 days of fairly intense use ... at the end of the day I usually get there between 55 and 70% 😀 I would say that even from 5 we can expect more especially considering that the characteristics are the same 😉
