THEhacking of the Nvidia network has caused quite a few problems for the company. One of the most important is the disclosure of new upcoming graphics cards, as well as the source code of the proprietary technology DLSS-2.2. Today we discover that since that hacker attack, some interesting details have emerged about the existence of Nintendo Switch 2, the second generation portable console that until now has never been mentioned. Let's go see what has been discovered.
From documents stolen from Nvidia, the very first details emerge on Nintendo Switch 2: Orion T239 chip and proprietary DLSS 2.2 technology
The stolen archive contains the folders NVN2 and NVNDLSS. Since the proprietary programming interface used to develop Switch solutions is named nvn extension, it is obvious that the NVN2 folders contain documents related to Nintendo Switch 2. Well, NVNDLSS indicates support for this technology by the console.
The documents also mention the platform Orion T239. The SoC uses a 78-core Arm Cortex-A12AE CPU and an Ampere architecture GPU with 2048 CUDA cores. The platform supports 200 GB / s of LPDDR5 RAM, nearly 10 times more than Switch's current Tegra X1 of the first generation. Judging by the characteristics, the GPU will demonstrate performance at the level of the GeForce RTX 3050 used in laptops.

As far as we know, the GeForce RTX 3050's GPU is 8nm while theOrion T239 is 7 nm, hence his power consumption should be slightly lower. As for using such a powerful GPU for such a console, this is explained by the high performance guarantee with resolution 4K.
For the sake of completeness, we remind you that previously this data was attributed to the Nintendo Switch Pro, which has never been heard of again. We can now assume that the Pro version corresponds to the Nintendo Switch 2.
