Nothing Ear (Stick) are official and are a "reduced" version of the Ear (1)

After seeing how and why the price of Nothing Ear (1) has increased significantly, we have also announced the arrival of the first headphone sticks. The design completely coincided with what we saw in the leaks. Bad specifications can be disappointing if we consider the price of the new item and the specifications of the previous Ear model (1). Let's see why.

Le Nothing Ear (Stick) are the first headphones of Carl Pei's company with cue and not in-ear. Here are all the features and the price

The main difference between last year's Ear (1) and the new Nothing Ear (Stick) is the lack of active noise cancellation in the latter and silicone earbuds, which create a bass-boosting effect and drown out external noise. Other features also differ, but in favor of the new model this time around. Nothing Ear (Stick) come with their own 12,6mm Nothing driver, unlike third party Ear (1) drivers. Another improvement is the battery life. It is gone from 5,7 to 7 hours, but with custody the total time has passed from 34 to 29 hours of operation (with “noise reduction” activated Ear (1) can withstand 4 and 24 hours respectively).

no ear sticks

Nothing Ear (Stick) comes with three: microphones: one for voice transmission, one for noise suppression during a call and one for low frequency loss compensation. The latter function is provided by a microphone inside the headset. With it, the system adjusts the equalizer if it “feels” the loss of low frequencies.

The Ear (Stick) will go on sale on November 4th for € 119. According to the CEO of Nothing, as we saw in the introduction, the price of the base model has increased due to higher production costs. Who knows if it will also happen for the Sticks.
