Il NothingPhone (2), the second smartphone from the brand founded by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei appeared on Geekbench, the well-known benchmarking site, revealing some of its technical specifications. The device, which will be launched on July 11th, mount the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, Qualcomm's flagship processor for 2022. This is not a surprise, given that Pei himself confirmed this choice in May, explaining that he wanted to offer the best possible performance to his users.
Nothing Phone (2) caught on GeekBench while its design is revealed
The Nothing Phone (2) that was tested on Geekbench has 12GB of built-in RAM and runs on Android 13, the latest version of Google's operating system. We actually find two Geekbench benchmarks, in the first test it got 1.733 points single-core and 4.207 points in the multi-core one, in the second 1.739 and 3.983 respectively. These are very high scores, demonstrating the power of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.

In addition to the processor and RAM, the Phone (2) will have other interesting features, such as a 6,7-inch display with 120 Hz refresh rate and battery from 4700 mAh. The design of the phone will also be very original, with a transparent back that allows a glimpse of the internal components and which can change color thanks to customizable LED lights. The phone will also have an under-screen fingerprint sensor and a hole-punch front camera.
Those who want to get a preview of the phone's design and interface can watch the video of YouTuber Marques Brownlee, also known as MKBHD, who showed the Phone (2) a preview, revealing some interesting details on the screen, transparent back and on the customizable LED lights. The video is available on the MKBHD YouTube channel and has already received millions of views.
The Nothing Phone (2) will be available in some international markets, but not in Italy. For now, the brand is focused on a few select countries, where it hopes to gain an audience with its unique style.
