We are getting closer and closer to the 27 March, an important date for all the fans of the brand that Xiaomi, because in Shanghai on that day the new flagship will be announced and presented to the tech world Mi Mix 2S, the first device of the Chinese company to be equipped with the promising Snapdragon 845 processor, support for wireless charging and AI technology applied to the photographic sector. And if in these days we have witnessed to render more or less realistic of the future smartphone, in these hours they have appeared two new photos that seem to immortalize the 2S Mi Mix both frontally and in the rear.
Apparently it seems filed the design that wanted a front camera set in a kind of notch, as emerged from the official teaser published by Xiaomi but on the style of the iPhone X seems to continue the style that concerns the rear photographic sector, as it will be a double vertical camera in the "traffic light" style to embellish the back of the 2S Mi Mix. And in fact the images appeared show the back of the smartphone that takes the double photo module seen on the Redmi Note 5 Pro accompanied by fingerprint sensor on the back, thus denying the previous rumors about the adoption of the latter under the display glass. From the image also it is conceivable to think about using glass for the back cover in order to optimize the wireless charging process.
Does XIAOMI MI MIX 2S REVEAL ONLY AN UPGRADE OF THE PREVIOUS GENERATION?
From the images it also emerges as the design is clearly derived from the previous Mi Mix 2 with the difference that the front camera will not be positioned in the lower right corner but at the center of the only showy frame, even if the image looks somewhat blurry. To credit of this we also remember the declarations of XDA who analyzed the firmware of the 2S Mi Mix in which it has found strings of code concerning the selfie camera positioned below the display. As always we have no certainties about the authenticity of the images, and given the various fakes that have circulated in recent days we can not but take with due caution the authenticity of the same, but in any case if that were the case Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S in effect would be an upgrade only at the hardware level of the previous generation, arousing a bit of disappointment in fans who were waiting for a single phone even in design.
